Information on food products is the focus of intense regulatory activity aimed at making consumers aware and sure of what they buy (Reg. EC 1169/2011 and subsequent amendments).


Food manufacturing companies must ensure that the information contained on the label and data sheets of the product are correct, with inevitable repercussions in the event that they are not, in terms of liability, administrative sanctions and criminal offences.
